Live event or show
Description
Wednesday 2nd October
7pm
Leatherhead Theatre
Main Stage
Family friendly circus show following the poignant and inspiring journey of a pirate who has lost his crew in a battle, become ship-wrecked in the storm, and battered and beaten, he sends a desperate message in a bottle into the oceans, hoping to be saved.
Through the show, our one-man circus performer displays acrobatics, fire, shape manipulation, balance, skill and a range of amazing tricks!
With audience participation, this is a story of struggle, challenges and failures, exploring the issues around mental health, and solitude, isolation and loneliness, while reaching out to others for support, advice and love. Ultimately we see our swashbuckling hero finding himself at the end of the show, no longer lost and searching, but the audience helps to bring him home safe and sound.
