Description
‘Echoes’ art exhibition will run daily 10am-5pm starting on Monday 14th Oct 12.00 until Sunday 20th Oct 4pm at Denbies Wine Estate. Three local artists, Karen Pearson, Victoria Phillips, and Reiko Evans will be showcasing and selling their work. This will include an exciting mix of paintings, sculpture, silver jewelry, and ceramics. Karen Pearson is a painter, sculptor, and tutor. Her work is inspired by the natural world but also reflects her travels and spirited side of life. Many of her paintings are completed en plein air on and around Leith Hill where she lives. Her sculpture ‘Celestial Totem’ has just been shortlisted for the Leonardslee Gardens prize www.karenpearsonart.com. Victoria Phillips brings a carefully curated collection of silver jewelry for sale, designed and made in her studio on Ranmore. Her work reflects her own personal passions and the beautiful natural environment www.silver-anvil.co.uk. Reiko Evans creates functional tableware in porcelain and stoneware. Her work is inspired by her surrounding and the Japanese culture from which she comes. She uses the Kintsugi technique on broken pit fired pots which breathes exciting new life into the work.
